Students are welcome to remain for lunch, which will immediately follow the lecture.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMr. Moesler will be joined by Mike Smith, Renmatix process development director.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ERenmatix\u003Cstrong\u003E \u003C\/strong\u003Eseeks to tackle one of the \u003Cstrong\u003Eworld\u0026#39;s grand challenges: finding a way to economically unlock the chemical building blocks that reside in the plant life growing all over the world, season after season\u003C\/strong\u003E. And in so doing, usher in a new industrial era where \u003Cstrong\u003Eplants, not petroleum, are refined as the basis for chemicals, fuels, and products \u003C\/strong\u003Ethat we use every day. Renmatix\u0026rsquo;s technological innovation, the use of water-based chemistry, provides a cleaner, faster, and lower-cost method for \u003Cstrong\u003Edeconstructing biomass into cellulosic sugars\u003C\/strong\u003E.
