Oliver has been selected to participate in both the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Class of 1969 Teaching Fellows program and the Serve-Learn-Sustain (SLS) Energy Systems for Sustainable Communities (ESSC) Fellows program for the 2017-18 academic year.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe CTL Class of 1969 Teaching Fellows program is designed for junior faculty across Georgia Tech meet regularly in an interdisciplinary environment, for \u0026ldquo;pedagogically focused support and professional development\u0026rdquo; with respect to teaching and student learning. Participants are also awarded $1,000 in discretionary funds for teaching-related activities or resources.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESLS Fellows programs comprise an interdisciplinary learning community bringing together diverse stakeholders from on and off campus to meet regularly to examine key themes related to sustainable community-building. They help participants push their research, teaching, and action in new ways while also informing strategic direction for the Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain.
