594204 news 1502281827 1502281827 Incoming freshman are encouraged to attend New Student Convocation on Sunday, August 20, from 5 - 6 p.m. Just as Commencement is a ceremony that marks the completion of study, New Student Convocation celebrates a student's entry into higher education and serves as the Institute's official welcome to the campus community. During the ceremony, we acquaint new students with Georgia Tech's mission and traditions. Students and guests are asked to dress appropriately in smart casual attire. Convocation will be streamed live and will also be available to watch the following week on YouTube. The link to watch it live will be posted on Sunday, August 20, on this website.
