He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Education at Purdue University, and he has a Master\u0026#39;s and a Bachelor\u0026#39;s in Systems and Computing Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, in Colombia, and Universidad Nacional de Colombia respectively. He has 10 years of experience teaching undergraduate engineering students in Colombia and the U.S. in Purdue\u0026#39;s\u0026nbsp;Engineering Projects in Community Service - EPICS program and the First Year Engineering Program. Before coming to Purdue, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogota, Colombia. In this role, he served as the coordinator of the Social and Professional Internship Program and the Coordinator of the Capstone Design projects.
