Joy Guan (ECON) received a PURA to complete research in \u0022Modeling and Application of Swarm Theory to Economics.\u0022 John Akin (EIA) received a Fullbright U.S. Student Grant. His assignment is teaching English in Indonesia for nine months. John will attend law school when he returns to the U.S. \n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAt the Georgia Tech Student Honors Ceremony this month, Zach Aten (ECON) will receive the Ivan Allen College, Student Advisory Board, \u0022Student Beyond Campus Award\u0022 for his participation in a variety of volunteer and internship activities that have taken him from Turkey to China. Al Enger (ECON and MGMT) will receive the \u0022Mollie Newton Award\u0022 for contributing the most to academic and extracurricular activities in Economics. Dedra Casey (ECON) will receive the \u0022Omicron Delta Epsilon Outstanding Senior Cup\u0022 for achieving the best overall academic record in Economics.
