Oliver will travel to Singapore June 16-20 to present some of his current research at the \u003Cem\u003E40\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E IAEE International Conference\u003C\/em\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDr. Oliver will be presenting \u003Cem\u003EThe Solar Rebound, Household Income, and Subsidization of Residential Solar Photovoltaic Systems\u003C\/em\u003E, describing his work on the \u0026lsquo;rebound effect\u0026rsquo; related to the adoption and utilization of residential solar power. The rebound effect is a well-known behavioral response to improved energy efficiency. His collaborators on the project are Dr. Juan Moreno-Cruz of the SOE and Sean H. Toroghi, a PhD student in the GT School of Building Construction and Technology and masters student in the GT School of Computer Science.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe annual \u003Cem\u003EIAEE International Conference\u003C\/em\u003E is the flagship conference of the International Association for Energy Economics. This year\u0026rsquo;s conference will be held at the spectacular \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.marinabaysands.com\/hotel.html\u0022\u003EMarina Bay Sands Resort and Hotel\u003C\/a\u003E (see photo) and is jointly hosted by the National University of Singapore.
