At the Empirical Investigations in Trade and Geography Conference in Melbourne, Australia (July), Lugovskyy will present Quality Choice: Effects of Trade, Transportation Cost, and Relative Country Size (with Alexandre Skiba).

Additionally, Lugovskyy has received a 2009 CIBER Research Grant for the project entitled An Experimental Investigation of the Persistence of Comparative Advantage.
