Her submission, which addressed\u0026nbsp;negative equity and lagging housing market recovery in African American neighborhoods in the southeastern US, was selected from submissions\u0026nbsp;recognized for their high-quality research.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEvery spring at the UAA Conference, the Best Paper Award award is made to the author(s) of the paper judged by peer scholars as the best presented at the conference.
