  <title><![CDATA[Rubin Presents Research at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency ]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>On May 10th, Lawrence Rubin, associate professor at the Georgia Tech&nbsp;Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, and David Palkki, assistant professor, Air War College,&nbsp;University of California - Los Angeles,&nbsp;presented their research comparing Iraqi and Syrian chemical weapons use at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) headquarters located at Fort&nbsp;Belvoir, Virginia. Audiences from around the world participated remotely. Rubin and Palkki also discussed their research with fellows from the Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction at the National Defense University, Fort&nbsp;McNair.</p>

<p>This research project was funded by DTRA&rsquo;s&nbsp;Project on Advanced Systems and Concepts&nbsp;For Countering WMD.</p>
