Now, C\u0026oacute;rdova has turned her attention inward in hopes of improving the dismal track record of NSF\u0026rsquo;s most prestigious award for young scientists.\u0026nbsp;Only five women have won\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/news\/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=102999\u0022\u003ENSF\u0026rsquo;s annual Alan T.
