Fealing serves as a member of the\u0026nbsp;CCA\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.scienceadvice.ca\/en\/assessments\/completed\/subnational-science-policy\/steering-committee.aspx\u0022\u003EWorkshop Steering Committee\u003C\/a\u003E.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe CCA provided the following statement\u0026nbsp;about the report:\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;To lead the development of the workshop and complete the necessary background research, the CCA appointed a five-member Steering Committee, chaired by Joy Johnson, FCAHS, vice president, research, Simon Fraser University. Other steering committee members were Paul Dufour, adjunct professor, Institute for Science, Society and Policy, University of Ottawa, and principal, Paulicy Works; Janet Halliwell, principal, J.E. Halliwell Associates, Inc.; Kaye Husbands Fealing, chair and professor, School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology; and Marc LePage, president and CEO, Genome Canada.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe workshop, held November 21 - 22, 2016 in Canmore, Alberta, brought together perspectives from academia, government, research institutions, and industry.
