<![CDATA[Tropical Geometry Workshop]]>
A workshop on Tropical Geometry will take place at Centro Internacional de Encuentros Matematicos (CIEM) in Spain, on December 12-16, 2011. The objective is to bring together leading experts in the field in order to promote Tropical Geometry within the Iberian mathematical community. There will be mentoring opportunities for students and young researchers. The program consists of 4 talks per day by senior researchers. In addition, there will be a student session and an open problem session during the week.
