  <title><![CDATA[Southeast Geometry Seminar XXV]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The <a href="http://www.math.uab.edu/sgs" target="_blank">Southeast Geometry Seminar</a> (SGS) is a series of semiannual one-day events focusing on geometric analysis. These events are hosted in rotation by the following institutions:</p>

<ul>
	<li>The University of Alabama at Birmingham</li>
	<li>The Georgia Institute of Technology</li>
	<li>Emory University</li>
	<li>The University of Tennessee, Knoxville</li>
</ul>

<p>This event will be held on October 26, 2014 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The following five speakers will give presentations:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Sigurd Angenent (University of Wisconsin-Madison)</li>
	<li>Omer Bobrowski (Duke University)</li>
	<li>Tom Ivey (College of Charleston)</li>
	<li>Ken Knox (University of Tennessee)</li>
	<li>Facundo Memoli (Ohio State University)</li>
</ul>

<p>The SGS is sponsored jointly by:</p>

<ul>
	<li>National Science Foundation</li>
	<li>Emory University</li>
	<li>Georgia Institute of Technology</li>
	<li>University of Alabama at Birmingham</li>
	<li>University of Tennessee, Knoxville</li>
</ul>

<p>There are NSF funds available to support travel expenses of participants. Priority will be given to current or recent Ph.D. students and postdocs. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.</p>
