Kimbrough and fellow American Peggy Whitson are performing a spacewalk to update the International Space Station for future cargo missions. He\u0026rsquo;s set to return to Earth a week from Monday, April 10, to conclude a five-month stay in orbit. He received his master\u0026rsquo;s degree in operations research from the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/isye.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EH. Milton Stewart School of Industrial \u0026amp; Systems Engineering\u003C\/a\u003E in 1998. He grew up in Smyrna, Georgia, and attended Tech basketball and football games as a kid.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis is Kimbrough\u0026rsquo;s second trip to space \u0026mdash; he flew aboard the space shuttle in 2008.
