  <title><![CDATA[Undergraduate/Graduate Awards for AY 2009-2010]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Graduate Committee announced the winners of the School of Mathematics graduate awards:</p>

<ul>
	<li><a href="https://d6.math.gatech.edu/users/ygong">Yun Gong</a> and <a href="https://d6.math.gatech.edu/users/ljpostle">Luke Postle</a> - Top PhD Student Award</li>
	<li>Alex Grigo - Best PhD Thesis</li>
	<li><a href="https://d6.math.gatech.edu/users/nlu">Nan Lu</a> - Best Teaching Assistant</li>
	<li><a href="https://d6.math.gatech.edu/users/bwebb">Ben Webb</a> - Festa Fellowship</li>
	<li><a href="https://d6.math.gatech.edu/users/sbishop">Shannon Bishop</a> - SIAM Student Chapter Certificate of Recognition</li>
</ul>

<p>There were also other Instructional Awards given by the TA Coordinator. The &quot;Best Math Lab Assistant&quot; was won by Liangda Huang.</p>

<p>The undergraduate awards from the Spring were:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Sunny Shah was the winner of the 2010 CETL/BP Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Award. He served the SOM as an undergraduate teaching assistant from Fall 2006 to Spring 2010 when he graduated with a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.</li>
</ul>
