It will take place at 2 pm on Friday April 7 in room 830, 25 Park Place.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EProfessor Harkness\u0026rsquo;s academic work focuses on the history of science during the early modern period. She is the author of two academic books,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EThe Jewel House: Elizabethan London and the Scientific Revolution\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;(Yale, 2007) and\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EJohn Dee\u0026#39;s Conversations with Angels: Cabala, Alchemy, and the End of Nature\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;(Cambridge, 1999).
