She is responsible for developing and managing the Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement strategies for Coca-Cola North America, Coca-Cola Refreshments and Coca-Cola\u0026rsquo;s Corporate functions, providing services, solutions and connections to enable a more engaged workforce, mirror the communities we serve, and best position the associates of Coca-Cola\u0026rsquo;s flagship market to drive growth.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAshley was appointed to her current role in 2010 after leading the Culture and Change work stream for the integration of Coca-Cola Enterprises and The Coca-Cola Company\u0026rsquo;s North American business units. Prior to that, she served as Coca-Cola Enterprises\u0026rsquo; (CCE) first Director of Global Employee Engagement where she led the design and implementation of CCE\u0026rsquo;s first global engagement survey and multi-year engagement strategy for its 70,000 associates.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBefore joining CCE, Ashley served as Practice Leader for CGI\u0026rsquo;s Organization Development and Change consulting practice. Ashley co-founded the practice and managed consulting engagements with clients such as Yahoo!, SBC, BellSouth, and AT\u0026amp;T.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAshley received her Master\u0026rsquo;s degree in Management with a concentration in Organizational Change from the Robinson School of Business, Georgia State University. She received her undergraduate degree in Industrial\/Organizational Psychology from Tulane University. She serves on the Tulane Fund Advisory Board, the Diversity \u0026amp; Inclusion Advisory Council of the Women\u0026rsquo;s Foodservice Forum and is an active member of the Network of Executive Women. He has worked extensively with companies in the travel and logistics sectors\u0026mdash;particularly airlines\u0026mdash;to improve their customer-facing service operations, helping them develop competitive advantage through superior customer-facing service. Drawing on expertise in marketing and sales and service operations disciplines, he has helped clients design customer-journey maps across multiple channels in order to target important improvement drivers, such as better customer retention, reduced attrition, and higher levels of satisfaction. He brings extensive experience using data-driven insights to improve operations and set strategy, particularly for companies in periods of significant transition\u0026mdash;such as mergers\u0026mdash;where the risks of customer dissatisfaction and confusion are highest. David has also designed and implemented growth strategies that have helped clients expand their global networks, reduce costs, and build capabilities for improved pricing and margin management. A former attorney, David spent five years as a federal prosecutor, as both a judge advocate in the United States Navy and as a special assistant US attorney. He is a member of the bar in California, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC. She is the first person to hold this position in the National Basketball Association. In her role, Shaw is responsible for developing and embedding diversity and inclusion best practices throughout the organization. She has designed a strategic, cross-departmental program that creates deeper cultural awareness and sensitivity. Additionally, Shaw serves as a member of the Executive Committee and provides guidance to the leadership team so that they can engender inclusivity in every facet of the business. Shaw is developing a strategy to embed diversity and inclusion in all programmatic activity, governance and daily administration of the organization. She is focused on building a foundation that will advance this strategy as a core component of the Atlanta Hawks \u0026amp; Philips Arena brand, and to drive the business. This initiative extends to fans, customers, community partners and within the workforce.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPrior to joining the Atlanta Hawks \u0026amp; Philips Arena, Shaw has been at the forefront of leading organizational change through diversity. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Diversity \u0026amp; Inclusion Officer at Edelman, the world\u0026rsquo;s largest and most profitable public relations agency. Simultaneously, she led the human resources function for Edelman\u0026rsquo;s southeast and southwest regions. She also worked in human resources at Essence Magazine, the Yankees Entertainment \u0026amp; Sports Network, and the National Football League. Shaw is also on the Board of Directors of the National Black Public Relations Society and the Georgia Diversity Council. She is an alumna of Spelman College, the University of Pennsylvania, and was a study abroad scholar at Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
