588728 event 1489506067 1489506067 <![CDATA[Navigating Uncertainty: Defining OUR Next]]> On December 10, 2015 Georgia Tech launched an innovative employee resource group (ERG) known as RESILIENCE. The purpose of this group is to strengthen employees and develop their capacity to proactively navigate both routine and extraordinary life challenges. RESILIENCE was organized to help employees increase resilience while proactively mitigating the impact of routine stress, crisis, and change. Last year, members participated in webinars, brown bag sessions, educational workshops, and a happiness campaign. The work of this ERG complements other related initiatives across Georgia Tech including those offered by Georgia Tech Health and Well-being, the Office of Human Resources, the Office of the Arts and the other employee resource groups.

As we move well into 2017, the RESILIENCE Employee Resource Group will focus on the theme Personal Well-being in the Midst of Change.  Life is about change – we feel it as we age, we see it all around us, we experience it in our technology. As change is pervasive in every aspect of our lives, our well-being is essential. RESILIENCE aims to empower, encourage, and equip participants with strategies to thrive through any kind of change.
