Specifically, the higher-millimeter-wave and\u0026nbsp;Terahertz\u0026nbsp;bands, i.e., over 60 GHz, are investigated. First of all,\u0026nbsp;the array-of-subarrays architecture is investigated from system power consumption, spectral efficiency, and energy efficiency to\u0026nbsp;shows its advantages. Second, we further study the subarray-based coordinated\u0026nbsp;beamforming training with multi-resolution\u0026nbsp;time-delay codebooks for the millimeter-wave and Terahertz systems.
