  <title><![CDATA[Undergraduate Darby Foster's work recently featured in Visualizing English Print ]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<div>Darby Foster, a first-year student in the Scheller College of Business, published a guest post, &ldquo;Data Mining&nbsp;<em>King Lear,&rdquo;</em>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<a href="http://graphics.cs.wisc.edu/WP/vep/2017/02/14/guest-post-data-mining-king-lear/" style="text-decoration:underline;" target="_blank">Visualizing English Print</a>, a Mellon-funded project that brings together literary scholars and computer scientists. Darby experimented with computational analysis to argue that&nbsp;<em>King&nbsp;Lear</em><em>&nbsp;</em>is Shakespeare&rsquo;s &ldquo;most tragic tragedy.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>

<div>Darby is&nbsp;majoring in Business Administration/Information Technology Management and wrote the article&nbsp;in 2016 as part of her study of &ldquo;Shakespeare and Law&quot; (in English 1102, part of Georgia Tech&rsquo;s&nbsp;<a href="http://wcprogram.lmc.gatech.edu/" style="text-decoration:underline;" target="_blank">Writing and Communication Program</a>) with&nbsp;<a href="http://higinbotham.lmc.gatech.edu/" style="text-decoration:underline;" target="_blank">Dr. Sarah Higinbotham</a>.&nbsp;<em>VEP</em>&nbsp;group member&nbsp;<a href="https://hfroehli.ch/" style="text-decoration:underline;" target="_blank">Heather Froehlich</a>&nbsp;helped Darby edit and adapt her work for the post.&nbsp;</div>
