The committee is responsible for selecting slates of candidates for AAAS positions.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEstablished in 1848, AAAS is the world\u0026rsquo;s largest multidisciplinary scientific society and a leading publisher of cutting-edge research through its\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EScience\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;family of journals. AAAS members reside in more than 91 countries around the globe.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFox\u0026rsquo;s research focuses upon the study of women and men in academic and scientific organizations and occupations. Her research has introduced and established the ways in which scientists\u0026rsquo;\u0026nbsp;participation and performance reflect and are affected by the social and organizational settings in which they are educated and work. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFox\u0026rsquo;s research is published in over 60 different scholarly and scientific journals, books, and collections.
