This request for proposals is part of an annual cycle, coinciding with fiscal year budgeting. The Advisory Group evaluates submitted concepts before making its recommendations to the Institute\u0026rsquo;s executive leadership team.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EExamples of the concepts approved for funding during the last cycle include:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EEngineering for Social Innovation\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ENew Graduate Program in Ocean Science and Engineering\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAlternative Service Breaks Expansion\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EDiversity \u0026amp; Inclusion Fellows Program\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EIntentional Integrating Teamwork, Leadership and Communication Skills in the Curriculum\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAnyone with an idea and the motivation to make it happen is invited to apply for funding. For the pre-proposal stage, a brief declaration of intent\u0026nbsp;is all that is required. The deadline for a pre-proposal is Feb. 15.
