To achieve energy independence our country, region and businesses will require greater interdependence. The Southeast region has significant opportunities to embrace renewable energy, particularly biomass and solar, to bolster our joint competitiveness. Responsible technologies that maintain healthy ecosystem services are key to our individual and collective success. Policy analysts, researchers and solution providers who are active in the national dialogue on climate change and renewable energy will present the strategic framework and clean tech solutions business leaders require to move forward as more sustainable businesses connected through an industrial ecosystem.
