The Commission comprises many of the world\u0026#39;s most influential leaders, researchers and practitioners in the fields of pollution management, environmental health and sustainable development. The aim of the Commission is to communicate the extraordinary health and economic costs of pollution globally, providing actionable solutions to policy-makers and dispelling the myth of pollution\u0026#39;s inevitability. The Commission Report will be published in The Lancet in first quarter 2017.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIntern responsibilities:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E1. Commission Outreach - Support the outreach work of the Commission on Pollution, Health and Development\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EEstablish connections and relationships with environmental NGOs in LMICs, communicate findings of Commission report.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EPromote participation in NatGeo \u0026quot;Your Shot\u0026quot; assignment on pollution\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EScreen organizations to add to list of civil society partners\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EMaintain contact database with communications log\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EExecute coordinated social media plan involving all partner\/supporting organizations.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ERecruit participation in #TellYourPollutionStory event.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E2.
