He is responsible for strategic direction associated with all execution aspects of construction for the Distribution, Transmission and Substation systems. This includes project management of major new construction and upgrades of the infrastructure, execution of large programs including Storm Secure, vegetative management, and inspection programs. His organization provides additional support to the Power Delivery Organization through managing all workload, testing of safety equipment and tools, standardizing work methods for the field, and environmental field services. His organization also supports NextEra on transmission and substation projects outside of the state of Florida.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMr. Gwaltney has been with FPL for over 30 years and holds a bachelor of electrical engineering degree from Georgia Tech.
