{"583265":{"#nid":"583265","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Project Inspire Teacher Residency final application deadline","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPROJECT INSPIRE TEACHER RESIDENCY APPLICATIONS\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EOne of our own Tech alum is now part of Project Inspire!\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Project Inspire teacher residency, located in Chattanooga, TN, recruits talented undergraduate students and career changers who want rigorous, rewarding training to become successful teachers in high-need schools. \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;Over the course of the 14 month program, teacher residents complete a master\u0026rsquo;s degree in education, a year-long classroom apprenticeship, and receive a teaching license. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFinancial supports are available during the residency year and including a living stipend and a master\u0026rsquo;s degree scholarship.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis program is for individuals who:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EWant to become licensed to teach secondary math or science (6th-12th grade) or elementary education (literacy emphasis)\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAre committed to educational equity in Chattanooga, TN and want to be part of a vibrant, entrepreneurial community \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EWant a rigorous but thoughtfully designed training program that also emphasizes teacher leadership in the early years of teaching\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ECohort 7 starts in June 2017.
