  <title><![CDATA[PhD Student PADS Resume With Best Paper Award]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Ph.D. student Ya-Lin Huang earned a Best Paper award at the 24th ACM/IEEE/SCS Workshop on Principles of Advanced and Distributed Simulation (PADS 2010), held May 17-19 in Atlanta.</p><p>Huang is earning her doctorate in computer science under adviser Richard Fujimoto, Regents' Professor and chair of the School of Computational Science and Engineering. Huang took the Best Paper honor for her work, "Ad Hoc Distributed Simulation of Queueing Networks."
