The goal of DILAC is to promote new forms of humanistic inquiry through classroom and project based learning. Professor Lauren Klein states, \u201cFor Fall 2016, our primary initiative is the development of two communities of practice-- informal discussion groups consisting of faculty, staff, and graduate students, who share common teaching and research interests. One community of practice will be oriented around the topic of digital humanities; the other around the topic of digital civics.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe DILAC had its first open house on Thursday, September 8\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E. The open house introduced faculty, staff, and students to the DILAC lab space and events that will be taking place in the future.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cem\u003EThe events Project?\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003EShare and discuss examples of \u0022digital humanities\u0022 projects, and participate in a short exercise to identify key project
