{"56970":{"#nid":"56970","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Tentzeris to Receive IEEE CPMT Best Paper Award","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EManos Tentzeris and his co-authors have been named the recipients of the 2009 Best Paper Award from the IEEE Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology Society. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ETheir paper entitled, \u201cEffect of Permittivity and Permeability of a Flexible Magnetic Composite Material on the Performance and Miniaturization Capability of Planar Antennas for RFID and Wearable Wireless Applications,\u201d was published in volume 32, issue number 4 of the IEEE Transactions on Components and Packaging Technologies.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EDr. Tentzeris\u0027 co-authors are Regents\u2019 Professor C.P. Wong and Research Engineer Daniela Staiculescu, both of the School of Materials Science and Engineering; Lara Martin, a Georgia Tech Ph.D. graduate who now works with Motorola; Sooliam Ooi, of Blackberry (Research in Motion); and Michael D. Hill, of Trans-Tech, Inc.
