  <body><![CDATA[<p>Georgia State Law'sCenter for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth will host a book reading, discussion and reception from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in the Knowles Conference Center to celebrate the launch of assistant professor John Travis Marshall's book, "How Cities Will Save the World: Urban Innovation in the Face of Population Flows, Climate Change and Economic Inequality."<br /> <br /> "How Cities Will Save the World" examines threats to communities such as climate change, population shifts and economic inequality and provides specific recommendations to cities to respond to these critical problems.
