The system was designed specifically as a method for waking up devices, never turning off, while running off of ambient power. Researchers on the project include ECE Professor Justin Romberg, ON Semiconductor Junior Professor and ECE Associate Professor Arijit Raychowdhury, and their graduate students Anvesha A, Shaojie Xu, and Ningyuan Cao.
