Research interests include Arts and Architecture’s Case Study Houses and their lasting impact on regional residential development. The Case Study architects reconsider normative construction practices and through their work, suggest alternatives to existing social paradigms. William’s current research explores links between architecture and social behavior by specifically examining emerging sustainable construction technologies, biomimicry, and rainwater harvesting.  Each of these technologies  encourage an active  relationship between
inhabitant, architecture, and site promoting global resource conservation through local level action
