  <title><![CDATA[Submit Questions for Georgia Tech Astronaut]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Georgia Tech master’s graduate Shane Kimbrough (’98, Operations Research) will fly to the International Space Station this September to begin a five-and-a-half-month mission. He and the crew will perform 250 research projects before returning in February. Kimbrough will serve as commander of the space station for three months of his stay.</p><p>The retired U.S. Army colonel is one of 14 Georgia Tech astronauts who have flown to space — &nbsp;he spent 16 days in orbit aboard the space shuttle Endeavor in 2008.</p><p>On Thursday, July 7, Georgia Tech will travel to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston to talk to Kimbrough about the upcoming mission, his previous spaceflight, and his days at Georgia Tech.</p><p>If you have a question for him, tweet to @GeorgiaTech or email <a href="mailto:socialmedia@gatech.edu">socialmedia@gatech.edu</a> by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6.
