David and John Duke at\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/livingstories.tv\/mayor-ivan-allen-jr-a-different-road\/\u0022\u003ELiving Stories\u003C\/a\u003E, a local Emmy-award-winning video production company, wrote and produced the documentary. The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts Dean\u2019s Office sponsored the film and provided support for its production.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe award for Historical Documentary was presented on June 11 at the 2016 Southeast Emmy Awards, hosted by Hollis Gillespie, an award-winning writer and comedian.\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EMayor Ivan Allen Jr. \u2013 A Different Road\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;premiered in June 2015 on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) to critical acclaim. The documentary is often rebroadcasted on GPB.
