Sergio Sandoval (far right) was honored with a 2016 Tower Award for his outstanding academic performance at Georgia Tech and a special recognition, the OMED Student Mentor Award. Sandoval, who will be interning at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory this summer, was surprised by the special recognition, remarking, “Awards like this help us keep going.”
