Falk is the architect of the company\u0027s Global Business Plan, which is positioning Kimberly-Clark to lead the world in essentials for a better life. He was elected Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and Chairman of the Board in 2003.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003EUnder Mr. Falk\u0027s leadership, Kimberly-Clark\u0027s total shareholder return has outperformed the S\u0026amp;P 500 and achieved sales of $19 billion in 2015. Kimberly-Clark has approximately 43,000 employees worldwide and operations in 35 countries.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003EMr. Falk serves on the boards of Lockheed Martin, Global Consumer Goods Forum, Catalyst, the University of Wisconsin Foundation, and as a National Governor of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He also chaired the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas\u0027 2013 fundraising campaign and continues to actively advance its mission.\u0026nbsp;He received his Bachelor\u0027s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin and a Master\u0027s of science in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003EFalk will speak at\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/ile.gatech.edu\/IMPACT.html\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech\u0027s IMPACT Speaker Series\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;on Monday, September 19, 2016.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003EAbout the Impact Speaker Series:\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESince 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from \u0022building a venture around intellectual capital\u0022 to \u0022successful entrepreneurship in large organizations\u0022 and \u0022socially responsible leadership.\u0022 The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003EAbout the Center for Health \u0026amp; Humanitarian Systems (CHHS):\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.scheller.gatech.edu\/news-events\/events\/chhs.gatech.edu\u0022\u003ECenter for Health and Humanitarian Systems\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;(CHHS) at Georgia Tech was created in 2007 with a vision of serving as an academic engine that improves the delivery of healthcare, disaster response, and long-term development though the discovery and translation of scientific methods and solutions in health and humanitarian systems.\u0026nbsp; The center\u2019s activities in Research\u0026amp;Projects, Education, and Outreach aim to (i) address grand challenges, via designing and improving systems that meet the health and societal needs of people and communities when there are limited resources, many decision makers, and complex tradeoffs; and (ii)\u0026nbsp; transform the health and humanitarian sectors through the development and implementation of cutting edge solutions, capacity building, sharing of best practices, and creation of future leaders.
