{"518591":{"#nid":"518591","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Living Building at Georgia Tech: Ideas Competition","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003ELearn about the recent ideas competition to design the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/livingbuilding.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003ELiving Building at Georgia Tech\u003C\/a\u003E \u2013 a project that is expected to become the most environmentally advanced education and research building ever constructed in the Southeast.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe panel discussion will feature representatives from The Kendeda Fund and the three design teams who participated in this rather unique ideas competition.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECollins Cooper Carusi\/Eskew + Dumez + Ripple\/Hellmuth + Bicknese,\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPerkins + Will, and\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ELord Aeck Sargent\/The Miller Hull Partnership (selected design team).\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAttendees will also enjoy an exhibit of the models and concept boards that were created as part of this process to help educate the broader community about the Living Building Challenge\u003Csup\u003ETM\u003C\/sup\u003E 3.0 and how it complements Georgia Tech\u2019s overarching sustainability goals. This exhibit will be available to the public until the end of April 2016.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGuests are invited to attend a reception hosted in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/clough.gatech.edu\/\/\u0022\u003EClough Undergraduate Learning Commons\u003C\/a\u003E exhibit area (bottom floor) starting at 5:30 p.m. The panel discussion will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the auditorium located next to the exhibit.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGuests may park in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/pts.gatech.edu\/visitors\/Documents\/map_20%20visitor_CS6.pdf\u0022\u003EArea 2 and Area 4 visitor pay lots\u003C\/a\u003E.
