The goal of the team is to design the global fulfillment centers and distribution facilities of the future (equipment and processes), while leveraging Amazon\u2019s internal robotics technology to the highest extent possible.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ERon and his team are also developing and setting standards for aligning numerous business units with independent business models. They are working to identify and leverage synergies within the various businesses to decrease overall operating costs and improve corporate profitability.
