The organization, which aims to be \u201cchanging the face of entrepreneurship,\u201d is now accepting applications for its first scholarship from students attending either Georgia Tech or Georgia State University. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022paragraph\u0022\u003E\u201cWe\u2019re encouraging people who think they have ideas to go for it,\u201d said Henderson Johnson II, a fourth-year aerospace engineering major and one of the founders of The Black\u0026nbsp;Burdell. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022paragraph\u0022\u003EThe Black Burdell\u2019s \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.theblackburdell.com\/scholarship\/\u0022\u003ECultivating Entrepreneurs Scholarship\u003C\/a\u003E is open to any undergraduate or graduate student who is of black, African, or African-American descent and has a 2.75\u0026nbsp;or higher\u0026nbsp;GPA. Submission requires a business plan and a video pitch of the business idea.\u0026nbsp;The recipient must use the\u0026nbsp;$1,000\u0026nbsp;award for their business venture or for academic purposes.\u0026nbsp;The deadline is Friday, March 25.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022paragraph\u0022\u003EJohnson along with Tech alumni Brandon Miller and Darren Sanders\u0026nbsp;officially launched\u0026nbsp;The Black\u0026nbsp;Burdell\u0026nbsp;\u2014 named for\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/traditions.gatech.edu\/gpb.html\u0022\u003ETech\u2019s most famous alumnus\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u2014\u0026nbsp;in September 2015.
