Based on digital holography, this method can measure the complete spatiotemporal intensity I(x,y,t) and the phase \u03d5(x,y,t) of arbitrary ultrashort pulses at a particular z-plane using one camera frame. We investigated sub-picosecond chirped pulse beating, multimode optical fiber output pulses, ultrafast lighthouse effect, etc. using STRIPED FISH. We also performed numerical simulations to understand effects of different spatiotemporal distortions on STRIPED FISH.
