While enhancing the performance of chiral metamaterials has been pursued, the goal of this proposal is to go beyond the extensive research on chiral metamaterials to expand upon their properties and applications, seeking out new nonlinear phenomena. The proposal provides an up to date summary of the literature, brings to light the gaps that remain in the field and builds off of preexisting works to advance the field. Results from preliminary works are provided, which include a series of nonlinear spectroscopic techniques on a pair of nano engineered twisted arcs.
