The University System of Georgia asked Gov. Nathan Deal for funds to create a cybersecurity center in Atlanta at Georgia Tech that would drive research and curriculum development across all schools in the University System of Georgia system. Both Georgia Tech and Augusta University recently launched their own cybersecurity institutes.
