Its current impact factor - an indication of its relative importance in the field - is 5.078, which places it fifth among all multidisiciplinary science primary rsearch jouranls.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe\u003Cem\u003E\u0026nbsp;Scientific Reports\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;editorial board is comprised of experts from all of the major fields\u0026nbsp; represented across the scope of the journal.
