Hays joined Georgia Tech in the fall of 2015. Previously, he was the Manning Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Brown University. His research interests span computer vision and computer graphics. In particular, his research focuses on using \u0022Internet-scale\u0022 data and crowdsourcing to improve scene understanding and allow smarter image synthesis and manipulation.
