This mandatory, annual training for all Georgia Tech employees will be included in the Institute\u2019s annual Ethics and Conflict of Interest Compliance Campaign that begins March 7 and ends April 8.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cGeorgia Tech\u2019s systems maintain data ranging from student grades to classified research,\u201d says Jimmy Lummis, associate director of Cyber Security. \u201cIt is important to conduct this type of training across the campus community to help ensure we all know how to play our part in protecting this sensitive information.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAs part of the yearly training requirements, Georgia Tech employees will have to participate in an online tutorial and confirm their understanding of the material covered. Employees should expect to spend 10 minutes completing both parts of the cyber security training. Details, including access to the training portal, will be available beginning March 7 at \u201cMy Compliance Campaigns\u201d on the TechWorks website.
