Conte has been named the new IEEE-CS representative on the Computing Research Association (CRA) Board of Directors. CRA sets the national policy agenda for all of computing.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EConte will be a voting member of the 34-member CRA board, and his appointment is for two years, renewable. He served as president of the IEEE Computer Society in 2015 and currently co-chairs the IEEE Rebooting Computing Initiative.\u0026nbsp; The initiative seeks to identify novel post-Moore\u2019s Law computing technologies.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EConte is a professor who is jointly appointed in the Georgia Tech Schools of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
