This $2,500 award will be given to a\u0026nbsp;junior or seniorwith at least a 2.5 GPA who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership and\/or entrepreneurial skills while at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Alvin M.\u0026nbsp;Ferst\u0026nbsp;Leadership and Entrepreneur Award will be presented at the Student Honors Celebration on\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EApril 20, 2016\u003C\/em\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EQualities of the Ideal Candidate:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EA person of vision\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EA driving force to create a business or organization\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAn inspiration to others to reach their potential\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EA leader with the ability to anticipate future needs\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAn optimist about finding solutions\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EOne who generates support of the dream\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAnd a person of character who says, \u201cwhy not,\u201d not \u201cwhy.\u201d\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EApplications must include a one-page cover letter describing qualifications for the award along with resume and two letters of reference that can be submitted at studentlife.gatech.edu\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003EThe deadline to submit application is Noon, February 22, 2016.\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;Finalists will be notified and interviewed by the\u0026nbsp;Ferst\u0026nbsp;Award selection committee.\u003C\/p\u003E","summary":null,"format":"limited_html"}],"field_subtitle":"","field_summary":"","field_summary_sentence":[{"value":"Applications due for the Alvin M.
