  <title><![CDATA[Georgia Tech Closing Early Due to Winter Weather Concerns]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Due to winter weather concerns, Georgia Tech's main campus in Atlanta will be closing Friday, Jan. 22, at noon. The decision comes following a state of emergency issued by Governor Nathan Deal that will close state offices tomorrow at noon as well. For the full announcement, visit <a href="http://c.gatech.edu/state-advisory">http://c.gatech.edu/state-advisory</a>.</p><p>Staff and students are encouraged to work with supervisors and/or instructors on any issues that arise from the suspension of normal campus operations. The Georgia Tech Office of Emergency Preparedness will continue monitoring conditions.
