<![CDATA[Center for Sustainable Engineering eLibrary of Sustainable Engineering Curriculum Modules]]> 27338 The Center for Sustainable Engineering is charged with assisting engineering educators in the transition to a new engineering paradigm based upon the concept of sustainability. One outcome of this partnership between Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Texas, Arizona State University, and the National Science Foundation is the CSE Electronic Library. There, educators may freely access or submit peer-reviewed educational modules connected to sustainable engineering practices. They can also review the CSE's assessment of sustainable engineering programs and courses in the United States. In the future, these measures of quality will be used to recognize programs of excellence in sustainable engineering education.

]]> <![CDATA[VIRTUES Summary Findings Report]]> 27338 The VIRTUES (Vertical Integration of Research, and Technical, Undergraduate, and graduate Education for Sustainability) Project has been concluded with a final report entitled, "VIRTUES Summary Findings: Roadmap for Post-Secondary Sustainability Education and Training." The project was funded by the Ray C. Anderson Foundation. It was headed by Michael Chang, Deputy Director of the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems, and Mary Hallisey-Hunt, Director of Special Projects for the Strategic Energy Institute. The leadership team also included faculty and administrators from Georgia Southern University and the the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, and industry partners from across the state.
