It was founded in 1954 by Bill Stubbs and Ray Inglett (B.S. EE from GT). Over the past 60 years Inglett & Stubbs has grown from building small commercial facilities to the some of the most prestigious projects in the Southeast. I&S’s signature markets include healthcare, data centers, institutional/educational projects, stadiums, laboratories, industrial/power generation, and International U.S. Government facilities. For each of these types of projects, a variety of services are provided, including preconstruction, budgeting, design/build, construction services, low voltage, telecommunications, and maintenance.

The electrical construction industry is led by Project Managers. They make up a majority of our professional staff, and a large group of them are Electrical Engineers. Working with the PMs are the support staff, the field staff, and company leadership. Inglett & Stubbs has a rich history with the GT ECE department, but has a diverse group of engineers across other departments and schools.

I&S is unique in its ownership structure, in that we are completely employee owned. Our PMs and executive staff make up the ownership group, creating a powerful team that works together to get the job done right, while sharing in success and profits. This also creates an entrepreneurial environment that drives us to constantly evaluate new markets, opportunities, customers, and business ventures. Because of this, employees are encouraged to seek out their own interests and motivations that will benefit the company as a whole. Each PM is encouraged to find their own path.

Speaker Bio:
Mr. Sapitowicz is a 1982 graduate of Georgia Tech, earning his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
